Getting started with marketing in Workspace

Workspace can connect the practical steps between attracting attention and serving a client: an enquiry form, booking, project, gallery, sale and later communication. Begin with one useful next action rather than trying to activate every tool at once.

Choose the next action

Decide what you want the right person to do:

  • send an enquiry;
  • book a session;
  • join your mailing list;
  • view a gallery; or
  • purchase from your Print Shop.

Build the page, form or message around that action. Avoid sending people to a general page when a more specific destination would help them.

Capture enquiries with a form

Use a short form to collect the information you need for a useful first reply. A submitted enquiry still needs a human response; it should not feel like an anonymous database entry.

See Forms and Questionnaires.

Offer online booking when the service is clearly defined

Self-booking works best when the session, availability, price, payment requirement and client expectations are clear. Suitable examples include mini sessions, headshots, studio portrait sessions and other services with defined availability, duration, price and inclusions. Keep the choice manageable and review the complete booking experience before sharing it.

See Online Bookings (Self-Booking Packages).

Build a permission-based mailing list

Use a mailing-list form to collect subscribers who have knowingly asked to hear from you. Use Email Marketing for relevant seasonal offers, mini-session releases, new products, useful guides, studio news and other communication that suits the audience. Keep the content worthwhile and make unsubscribing straightforward.

Start with Email Marketing and Gallery Sales Workflows.

Use galleries to continue the relationship

A Client Gallery can deliver work, encourage favourites, support product sales and create a polished final experience. The client’s immediate task should remain clear; marketing should not interrupt viewing, choosing or purchasing.

Use FindMe as a simple link page

FindMe is a small, shareable page that brings your important links together in one place. You can use it as a link-in-bio destination or share its QR code so people can quickly reach your website, enquiry form, booking page, galleries, Print Shop or other selected destinations.

FindMe does not need to replace a full website. It is most useful when someone needs a short, memorable route to a focused group of links.

See How to set up your FindMe page and Best ways to use your FindMe page.

Connect the stages

A simple path might be:

Website or FindMe → Form or booking → Project → Gallery → Follow-up

Review where people become confused or stop. Improve that transition before adding another campaign or automation.
