Email Marketing lets you send campaigns to people who have joined your mailing list, while Gallery Sales Workflows automate communication and promotions around a specific gallery.
Email Marketing
Email Marketing is for people who have agreed to join your mailing list. You can collect sign-ups through a form, import contacts whose consent you already hold, create an email campaign, choose an audience and schedule the campaign.
Use it for studio news, seasonal availability, useful client advice, mini-session announcements and other general communication relevant to subscribers.
Gallery Sales Workflows
A Gallery Sales Workflow is applied to a gallery. It contains emails, promotions, actions or banners that run according to its timing and triggers. The workflow responds to the gallery lifecycle and customer behaviour; you do not add contacts to it manually.
Use it for gallery release communication, ordering reminders, abandoned-cart follow-up, gallery promotions and messages connected to a particular gallery.
System Emails
System Emails are operational messages generated by a specific action or event, such as a form submission or invoice payment. They are not general mailing-list campaigns and are managed separately.
A sensible starting order
- Complete Email Marketing Preferences.
- Build a permission-based audience through sign-up forms or a consented import.
- Create, review and schedule your first campaign.
- Create or copy a Gallery Sales Workflow for the correct gallery type.
- Review every message and trigger, then apply and activate the workflow on an appropriate gallery.
Keep the first setup simple. A clear email sent to the right people is more useful than a long sequence that has not been carefully reviewed.
