Use Workspace forms to collect enquiries, mailing-list sign-ups or information from a client. Choose the purpose before building the questions because it affects how the response is handled.
Choose the form purpose
- A lead form captures an enquiry and can create a lead for follow-up.
- A mailing-list form collects a person’s request to join your marketing audience.
- A questionnaire collects information for an existing relationship or project.
A lead form can include a separate mailing-list opt-in. Do not treat an enquiry as marketing consent unless the person has knowingly opted in.
Create the form
- Open Client Management and select Forms & Questionnaires.
- Choose a suitable template or start a new form.
- Add an internal title and description.
- Write a short client-facing introduction.
- Add only the questions you need.
- Choose the form purpose and response settings.
Set the completion experience
Review the submit-button wording, confirmation message and any redirect. Make it clear that the form was received and what the person should expect next.
Design and share the form
Adjust the available design settings, then share the form using its direct link, a Workspace website form widget or the supported embed option for another website.
Review and reply to responses
Open the form responses or related lead and mailing-list records. If the submission is an enquiry, reply to it. If it is a questionnaire, review the answers and follow up with the client where required.
Good form practice
- Keep the first form focused.
- Explain why sensitive or unusual information is needed.
- Do not make a marketing opt-in compulsory for an unrelated enquiry.
- Review automated confirmation emails before publishing.
- Submit the form yourself once and check the complete response path.
