To accept paid orders through a Client Gallery or Print Shop, you must connect Stripe, apply a suitable price list and complete the relevant tax and business settings.
Before you begin
Complete Step 1: Deliver your first Client Gallery so you already understand the client-facing gallery.
Review your business and tax settings
Confirm the business details, tax number and tax rates that apply to your sales. Tax obligations differ by jurisdiction; obtain professional advice when you are unsure.
Create the price list
- Open your Workspace price lists.
- Create a price list for the type of gallery you intend to use.
- Add the required prints, products, packages or digital downloads.
- Set your selling prices and review the expected costs and margin.
See How to set up your Gallery Price List.
Connect Stripe
Stripe is required to sell through Workspace. Customers cannot complete a paid order through a Client Gallery or Print Shop until Stripe is connected to your Workspace account.
Complete Stripe’s account setup and verification requirements before releasing the gallery or Print Shop. Do not wait until a customer is ready to purchase, as verification or missing account information may delay your ability to accept payment.
See How to set up Stripe for Workspace.
Apply the price list
Open the gallery settings and select the intended price list. Reopen the client view and confirm that the shopping cart presents the correct products and prices.
Review the checkout
Select a representative product and image, then work through the cart far enough to confirm product options, price, tax and shipping. You do not need to place repeated live orders simply to check every wording change.
