A Client Gallery gives your client a polished place to view photographs and, when enabled, choose favourites, download files or order products.
What you will complete
- Create a Client Gallery.
- Upload a prepared set of images.
- Review its privacy and presentation.
- Share the correct client link.
Choose the correct gallery type
Workspace includes different gallery types for different purposes. When following this guide, choose Gallery Type: Client Gallery.
A Client Gallery is designed for delivering photographs from a particular job to an individual client, family or invited group. It can support viewing, favourites, downloads and product ordering. Find the complete guidance under Client Galleries.
A Print Shop has a different purpose. It is intended for presenting a curated collection of photographs or artwork for ongoing public sale—for example, landscape, travel or fine-art images that visitors can browse and order without being connected to a particular client job. If that is what you want to build, begin with Print Shop instead.
Workspace also provides specialised gallery types for workflows such as Volume and School Galleries. Choosing the correct gallery type gives you the settings and behaviour intended for that purpose.
Create the gallery
- Open the Workspace dashboard.
- Choose New Gallery.
- Select Client Gallery as the Gallery Type.
- Enter a clear gallery name and save it.
Use the gallery menu from its dashboard card when you later need to archive or remove it.
Upload the images
- Open the gallery.
- Use Upload Images or the upload control.
- Select the finished client files and allow the upload to complete.
Check the first and last images, orientation, sequence and any expected categories or collections.
Review the gallery settings
Open the gallery settings and confirm its title, privacy, password or login requirements. Keep the first gallery simple; you can refine branding and organisation after the essential delivery works.
Preview before sharing
Open the client-facing view and confirm that the intended images are available. Check the login on a private browser window and review the gallery on a phone as well as a computer.
Share the gallery
Use the gallery sharing controls or send the client-facing link in your own message. Include any password, what you want the client to do and any genuine access deadline.
