Email activity helps you understand whether a campaign was processed and how recipients interacted with it. Use the information as a guide, not as a perfect record of individual attention.
Delivery and suppression
Workspace records campaign sends and excludes contacts who are no longer eligible, including contacts who have unsubscribed from the mailing list. A suppressed or failed message is different from a successful delivery.
Opens
An open is recorded when the email's tracking request is loaded. Some email applications block tracking, while others preload images for privacy. Open totals therefore indicate general engagement but cannot prove that a particular person read the message.
Clicks
A click is recorded when a tracked campaign link is followed. Clicks are often a stronger signal of interest than opens, but automated security scanners can also follow links.
Use Activity
Open Email Marketing → Activity to review recent sending activity. Use the campaign record to compare the intended audience with what was processed.
What to learn
- Was the subject clear enough to earn attention?
- Did the main link receive clicks?
- Was the call to action easy to find?
- Did complaints or unsubscribes suggest the message was unexpected?
- Should the next campaign be simpler or more relevant?
Do not chase a single metric. The most useful outcome is whether subscribers took the action the email was designed to support.
