The Workspace Album Designer brings your images, layouts, client proofing and Queensberry album order together in one browser-based workflow. It is free to use for designing Queensberry albums in Workspace, and its templates and product setup help you design for the album you intend to order.
You can design the album yourself, share it with your client for feedback and approval, then place the order when the design is ready. If you prefer, you can choose the Queensberry design service instead of designing online.
Before you begin
- Choose the images you want available for the album.
- Confirm the album size, orientation and page type you intend to order.
- Decide whether you will design the album yourself or ask Queensberry to design it.
- Allow time for your client to review the design and request changes.
The complete workflow
- Create the album and choose Design Online.
- Open the Album Designer and organise the available images.
- Build the album with layouts and templates.
- Check cropping, photosafe guides, page edges and the centre gutter.
- Review the complete sequence and wait for All changes saved.
- Use Share with Client to send the design for feedback and approval.
- Make any agreed changes and send a new revision when necessary.
- Complete a final review, then select Place Order.
Design and proofing are different stages
Designing is where you arrange and refine the album. Proofing is where your client reviews that design, leaves feedback or approves it. While the design is with your client for proofing, editing is restricted until the client submits their response or you take back control.
Product details are connected to the design
The album record tells Workspace which product, size and orientation you intend to order. These choices determine the design space and the layouts available to you, so check them before spending time on detailed design work.
You can request colour correction by Queensberry when you place the order. Any applicable charge is shown as part of the current ordering process.
