School gallery orders can be sent through a consolidated school or daycare delivery, or to a custom address. The options and freight shown to the family depend on the gallery's bulk-shipment settings and whether the bulk-delivery window is still open.
Delivery to the school or daycare
During the bulk window, eligible orders can be delivered as part of a consolidated shipment to the school or daycare. This option is promoted to families as free shipping, which means the family is not charged freight at checkout. The shipping cost is paid by the photographer; it is not waived by Queensberry.
Queensberry completes the orders, consolidates them and sends the shipment to the receiving address entered in the gallery settings.
The school delivery address is not shown to families in the gallery. Check it carefully before release.
Delivery to a custom address
Families can choose Enter a custom delivery address when they want the order sent somewhere other than the school, daycare or studio. Freight applies to that delivery address and is shown to the family at checkout.
Custom delivery orders are not part of the consolidated school shipment. The customer should enter complete and accurate recipient and address details.
What happens after the bulk cut-off
The cut-off date is the first day the consolidated school-delivery option is unavailable. The option promoted as free shipping to families remains available until 11:59pm the day before, with its shipping cost paid by the photographer.
After that window, families should use the delivery choices available at checkout. Do not tell a family that a late order will automatically join the school shipment.
Allow for production and local distribution
For bulk delivery, allow 3–5 days after the cut-off for final printing and consolidation during normal production periods. Delivery time and the school's own distribution process come after that.
November and December are peak production months. Order volumes increase significantly at the end of the year, so normal turnaround guidance may not apply. Queensberry issues specific end-of-year turnaround times and ordering deadlines for this period.
Check the current end-of-year advice before setting your gallery cut-off date or promising families when their orders will arrive. Allow enough time for printing, consolidation, shipping and the school's local distribution. If the seasonal guidance differs from the usual 3–5 days, use the dates supplied by Queensberry.
Avoid describing the cut-off date as the delivery date. Tell families when ordering closes, how the order will travel and who will distribute it once received.
Who is responsible for what
Queensberry produces and ships the order using the delivery information supplied through Workspace. The photographer pays the shipping cost for the consolidated option promoted to families as free shipping. The photographer is also responsible for setting accurate gallery delivery details and communicating the correct option to families.
The school or photographer should agree who will distribute a consolidated shipment after it arrives.
If a delivery concern is reported
Collect the Workspace reference, order number, customer name, selected delivery method and address before contacting Queensberry. First confirm whether the order was assigned to bulk delivery or a custom address.
If the order has already shipped, production changes cannot be made. Delivery enquiries should be based on the actual order and shipping status rather than the gallery's general cut-off date.
