How to review a Client Gallery before sharing it

Review the gallery from your client’s point of view before sending the link. A short, structured check catches most access, file and shopping problems.

Check the gallery structure

  • Confirm the gallery name, event date and cover.
  • Open every category and collection.
  • Check that images are in the intended location and order.
  • Look for duplicates, missing files and unexpected filenames.

Check image presentation

  • Inspect representative images at a larger size.
  • Review orientation, crop, colour and sharpness.
  • Confirm watermarks and download settings are intentional.
  • Check any replacement file appears correctly.

Check access

Confirm whether the gallery should be Public, Semi Private or Private. Test its password, Require Email on Login setting and Collection Expiration date. Use the exact link you intend to send.

Check client actions

  • Mark and remove a favourite.
  • Try the intended download path, where enabled.
  • If products are sold, select an image and product, review the crop and add it to the cart.
  • Check the attached price list and representative products.

Check communication

Review the login-page wording, gallery instructions and release email. Make sure the link, password, expiry, download and ordering information agree with the gallery settings.

You do not need to test every image or complete an unnecessary payment. Focus on representative collections, file types and customer journeys, and repeat the relevant checks after material changes.
