How Gallery Sales Workflows work

A Gallery Sales Workflow is a reusable set of automations designed for a particular gallery type. You apply the workflow to a gallery; you do not add contacts to the workflow.

What a workflow can contain

  • Abandoned-cart emails for eligible customers who leave products in the cart.
  • Promotional emails connected to the gallery lifecycle or a selected date.
  • Actions that make a defined change when their trigger is reached.
  • Banners that display a message or promotion inside the gallery.

Gallery types matter

A workflow is created for a specific gallery type: Client Gallery, Print Shop or School Gallery. Workspace shows workflows that suit the gallery being configured.

Triggers control timing

Each automation has its own trigger. Depending on the automation, the trigger may relate to workflow activation, gallery dates, a custom date, a period before or after an event, or customer behaviour such as an abandoned cart.

Applying a workflow does not mean every automation sends immediately. The trigger, automation status and gallery activity determine what becomes eligible.

Activation starts the gallery workflow

Selecting a workflow connects the template to the gallery. Using Activate Workflow records the release or activation date and allows its eligible automations to begin.

Keep the sequence useful

Start with the smallest sequence that supports the gallery. Review the message, timing, links, promotion and trigger for every automation. Too many reminders can weaken the customer experience.
