You can create, edit and publish website pages from Website Pages. Each page has its own content, navigation settings, URL and search information.
Create the page
- Open Website Designer, then Website Pages.
- Select Add Webpage.
- Enter a clear Page Title.
- Enter the shorter Navigation Text visitors should see in your menu.
- Review the Page URL Slug. Workspace can suggest one from the title when it is empty.
- Choose whether the page should Display in site navigation.
- Save the page, then open it in Page Designer.
The homepage always uses the root URL and its slug cannot be changed.
Build the content
Select + Add Section to add a horizontal area. Choose its column arrangement, then add the widgets you need. A straightforward page might contain an opening image, a heading and introduction, supporting text or photographs, and one clear enquiry, gallery or booking action.
Save individual widget and section settings as you work. Keep the layout focused; more content does not always make the page more useful.
Preview before publishing
Use Preview or the split-screen preview. Follow every button and link, submit any form you have added, and review the page on both desktop and mobile-sized screens.
Publish the page
A page can be Published or Unpublished. When editing a live page, use Save New Version while reviewing changes, then Update Published Version when the new version is ready.
Publishing a page does not necessarily place it in your menu. Check Display in site navigation and the menu order separately.
Final check
- The title, navigation text and URL are correct.
- The page appears in the intended menu location.
- Images are sharp and appropriately sized.
- Buttons, forms and links work.
- The page reads well on a phone.
- The Meta Description accurately explains the page.
