Workspace uses Stripe to process payments made through your Client Galleries and Print Shop and to pay the available proceeds into your connected Stripe account.
What Stripe does
- Processes the payment methods available to your customer at checkout.
- Verifies the business and personal information required for your Stripe account.
- Deducts Stripe’s payment-processing fees.
- Manages your available balance, payout schedule and connected bank account.
You manage these payment and payout settings in your Stripe Dashboard. Availability can vary by country, currency and Stripe account.
What Workspace does
Workspace connects the customer’s order with your gallery, price list, tax settings and chosen fulfilment method. For Queensberry-fulfilled products, Workspace also passes the order into production and records the cost of sale.
When Queensberry fulfils an order, Workspace deposits the sale proceeds to your Stripe account less the cost of sale, including tax, shown on Queensberry’s invoice. Stripe shows the Queensberry deduction as an application fee. Stripe deducts its own processing fee separately.
The payment flow
- Your customer checks out and pays through the Workspace Shopping Cart.
- Stripe processes the payment.
- Workspace records the order in Sales & Activity.
- If Queensberry products are included, Queensberry receives the fulfilment information and produces the order.
- The remaining Stripe balance is paid to your bank according to your Stripe payout settings.
Refunds and chargebacks
You are responsible for the cost of refunds and chargebacks, including the wholesale cost of products that may already have been made for the order. If there is a product or file problem, contact Queensberry promptly before assuming an order can still be stopped.
