Before you can accept online payments through a Client Gallery or Print Shop, you need a connected Stripe account and a bank account that Stripe can pay into.
Connect Stripe
Go to Settings, open your Shopping Cart settings, then follow the prompts to connect Stripe. Stripe will ask you to verify information about you and your business before the account can accept payments or receive payouts.
If Workspace reports that Stripe is inactive or that setup has not been finished, reconnect the account or complete the outstanding steps in Stripe before releasing a gallery for sales.
Add your bank account in Stripe
Add the bank account you want Stripe to use for payouts. Stripe controls the payout schedule, timing and verification requirements, so check the payout settings and account status in your Stripe Dashboard.
Review your tax settings
Before you sell, also review the tax settings attached to your Workspace price list. Your tax responsibilities depend on your business and where you sell, so ask your accountant or tax adviser if you are unsure what to enter.
What happens when a customer orders
- Your customer places and pays for an order through your Workspace Shopping Cart.
- The payment is processed through Stripe.
- Workspace records the sale and, where applicable, deducts the cost of sale and tax shown on Queensberry’s invoice. Stripe separately deducts its processing fees.
- If Queensberry is fulfilling the products, the order is sent into the Queensberry production workflow.
- Stripe pays the available balance to your connected bank account according to your Stripe payout settings.
