How to duplicate, archive or restore a website page

Website Pages includes separate actions for duplicating, archiving and deleting a page. Choose the action that matches what you want to preserve.

Duplicate a page

  1. Open Website Pages.
  2. Find the page you want to use as a starting point.
  3. Choose Duplicate.
  4. Open the copy and change its title, URL, navigation and content.
  5. Review the complete page before publishing it.

A duplicate is useful for a similar service or landing page, but copied wording, links, forms and SEO fields must be updated.

Archive a page

Choose Archive when you want to remove a page from the active Website Pages list without permanently deleting it. Before archiving, remove or update navigation and links that send visitors to it.

View or restore archived pages

  1. Open Website Pages.
  2. Choose View Archived Pages.
  3. Find the page and use the available restore or unarchive action.
  4. Review its content, URL and navigation before publishing or promoting it again.

Delete only when appropriate

Delete a page only when you no longer need its content or history. Check menus, buttons, campaigns and external links first. Archiving is the safer choice when a page may be reused.
