Website Pages includes separate actions for duplicating, archiving and deleting a page. Choose the action that matches what you want to preserve.
Duplicate a page
- Open Website Pages.
- Find the page you want to use as a starting point.
- Choose Duplicate.
- Open the copy and change its title, URL, navigation and content.
- Review the complete page before publishing it.
A duplicate is useful for a similar service or landing page, but copied wording, links, forms and SEO fields must be updated.
Archive a page
Choose Archive when you want to remove a page from the active Website Pages list without permanently deleting it. Before archiving, remove or update navigation and links that send visitors to it.
View or restore archived pages
- Open Website Pages.
- Choose View Archived Pages.
- Find the page and use the available restore or unarchive action.
- Review its content, URL and navigation before publishing or promoting it again.
Delete only when appropriate
Delete a page only when you no longer need its content or history. Check menus, buttons, campaigns and external links first. Archiving is the safer choice when a page may be reused.
