Create packages and add them to a price list

Packages let you sell several products together for one price. The setup has two parts: first create the package, then add it to a price list and set its selling price. You only need to create each package once.

Create a package

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Packages.
  3. Choose Create Package.
  4. Enter the package name and continue to the package builder.

Add products to the package

  1. Under Choose the products included, select a Category.
  2. Select the Product you want to include.
  3. Enter the Quantity, where available.
  4. Click Add Product.
  5. Repeat these steps for each product in the package.
  6. Optional: click Add Package Image to give clients a visual preview in your shop.

Your package changes are saved as you work.

Package ideas

Simple packages are usually easiest for clients to understand. For example:

  • Starter Print Collection: one 8 × 10 print, two 5 × 7 prints and five 4 × 6 prints.
  • Wall and Gift Collection: one framed wall print and two smaller gift prints.
  • Print and Digital Collection: one large print, two smaller prints and a set of digital downloads.
  • School Portrait Collection: one class photograph, two portrait prints and four wallet-sized prints.

Add the package to a price list

A new package is not offered for sale until you add it to a price list and give it a selling price.

  1. Go to Settings → Price Lists.
  2. Click the price list you want to update.
  3. In the product category list, click Packages.
  4. Click Add Product.
  5. Select the checkbox beside the package you want to add.
  6. Click Continue to set the selling prices.
  7. Open the Packages section of the price list.
  8. Enter the amount you want to charge in the package price field. Workspace will show the editable tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive field that applies to your price list.

The package becomes active once its selling price is greater than zero.

If you change the products in a package later, Workspace makes that package inactive in the price lists using it. Return to each price list, review the package and confirm its selling price before offering it again.
