Your client can review the album online without entering the design workspace. They can move through the layouts, leave comments about specific changes and submit one clear response when they have finished.
Ask your client to review the whole album
Encourage them to consider the image choices, sequence, crops, layout balance and any text before submitting their response. Collecting feedback in one review is usually clearer than sending separate messages through several channels.
Requesting changes
Your client can place comments on the relevant part of a layout and explain the change they want. They should be specific—for example, identify the image to replace or the crop to adjust—rather than leaving a general comment that is difficult to apply.
Finishing the review
When your client selects that they have finished proofing, they can:
- Send feedback to return their comments and requested changes to you.
- Approve the album design when no changes are required.
Approval should mean that they have checked the complete design and are happy for you to continue towards ordering.
Keep decisions in the proofing workflow
If your client discusses a change by email or phone, record and confirm the final decision before ordering. Do not rely on an unclear approval when the design or requested changes are still being discussed.
