How to connect assets, galleries and albums with a project

Connect a project with the files, links and deliverables that belong to the job. This turns the project into a useful working hub without duplicating the underlying gallery or album.

Add assets and external links

Use the project’s assets or links area for material the team needs, such as a brief, mood board, preparation guide or shared folder. Give each item a title that explains what it is.

Before exposing an item through a client-facing portal, confirm that it contains no internal notes, private credentials or material intended only for your team.

Connect a gallery

Add the relevant Client Gallery to the project. The gallery remains managed through its own settings; the connection gives you a convenient route from the project to its delivery and activity.

Connect an album

Add the related album so its design or proofing work is easy to find from the project. Confirm that you have selected the album belonging to this client and job.

Use internal notes deliberately

Place a note on the project when it describes this job. Do not use a client-facing asset to store internal commentary, and do not assume every internal project field is shared with the client.

Review the project before sharing a portal

Check every connected item, its title and whether it should be visible. A project can contain more operational information than a client needs to see.
